The Farm on St. Mathias

For the past six years, the Farm on St. Mathias has been an integral part of the community in North-Central Minnesota.

The 80 acre farm, located three miles south of Brainerd, has sold produce to local restaurants, been a presence at the farmers market, provided farm tours and donated land for community gardens to local nonprofits. Strong relationships between schools and farmers benefit students

As interest in Farm to School increases, relationships between schools and their farm partners continue to grow stronger. San Diego growers are coming together to create a food hub to meet the needs of schools and other institutions interested in local sourcing.
